MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SCADA FOR THE POLYCASTRO WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT – ECOTEC ARTICLE

In the July-August 2021 issue of Ecotec magazine which focuses on sewage treatment plants, an article was published by Constrat relative to its work in Polycastro.
“CONSTRAT Ltd. took over the supply of the management system SCADA wastewater treatment plant of Polycastros (D.E.Y.A PAIONIAS)
with the purpose of upgrading its function, through the upgrading of the automation equipment, communications,
measurement instruments and the implementation of an integrated facility management system from SCADA system.
Moreover, speed control devices were installed on the motors in various units for the better management (protection of motors from damage), along with energy saving.
Finally, there were executions of tasks such as:
- Removal of the damaged automation equipment and installation of new equipment
- Settlement of cables
- Installation of communication equipment
- Installation and customization of level measurement instruments, quality measurements
- Installation of SCADA computer server, software development application
- Development of automation program (PLC)
- Operation of the overall management system of the sewage treatment plant”
