PROJECT DESCRIPTION<\/h2>\n

Following the contract signed in June 2018 between\u00a0DEYA Maleviziou<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0CONSTRAT<\/strong>\u00a0, the company was assigned the following tasks according to the study:<\/p>\n

The present study aims to assign the works or part of them to a contractor selected by the direct assignment process, such as: water supply interruption notification, interruption of water supply, control of arbitrary reconnection and reconnection after settlement of the debt, as well as the replacement of hydrometers where necessary, the transport of hydrometers outside private areas and the disclosure of a manhole where the meter is located, so that DEYAM crew has access to it.<\/p>\n

In particular, the work involved is:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Distribute notifications:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The distribution is done by sectors where, together with the printed notifications, the contractor\u2019s employee receives a statement with the addresses of the property being warned and the corresponding numbers of water meters, and the distribution will be made by alerting the water tapped to the bell of his property and absent it leaves the alert in every convenient way. He then returns the signed statement by himself and indicating any property he did not do for any reason the above work. This status, after being signed by the Consumers who received the written notice from the Contractor and from the authorized official of the Service, constitutes certification for the execution of the service.<\/p>\n

    1. Stopping property watering:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      In the case of water supply disruption, a status is given with the properties and the corresponding numbers of meters and consumer codes that should be discontinued. The above interruption is done by removing the meter and placing a brass plug in the water pipe as well as installing a plastic locking caliper in the supply. Alternatively, a safety switch can also be fitted. Thus, when the water supply must be stopped, the valve is closed before the water meter and overlaid by the caliper, which is also locked in such a way that it is impossible to open the stop valve.         1. Reset water supply:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          1. Water meter transfer:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            In many cases, water meters, whether located at points within the consumer\u2019s property or they have been placed in an undefined area and at DEYAM\u2019s discretion they are exposed to hazards, situations that make it difficult to control, measure, replace, and discontinue the supply, then the meter should be transported in a safe place away from home or out of the well in a safe place in front of the consumer\u2019s property. For these cases, the DEYAM offices will be given a status with the properties and the corresponding numbers of meters and consumer codes. In any case, the above work will be performed by the contractor and will be accompanied by full details of the consumer as well as a photograph of the facility before and after and will be evidence of the execution of the work. If the water meter or ball valve requires immediate replacement, these will be provided by DEYAM and will be placed by the contractor. The consumer\u2019s water transport and restoration materials will be borne by the contractor.<\/p>\n

            1. Manhole Discovery:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              In many cases, water meters are located in manholes that are well loaded and control, measurement, replacement, and service shutdowns are difficult. For these cases, DEYAM will give a statement of the properties and the corresponding numbers of water meters and consumer codes in order for the contractor to proceed with the revelation of the well. The aim is to record the meter readings smoothly. In case of need to transfer the water meter, the provisions of paragraph (5) above apply, with the corresponding charge, with the agreement of the service.               1. Hydrometer Replacement:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                In many cases, water meters are out of order and recording water consumption is not possible. For these cases, DEYAM will give a statement of the properties and the corresponding numbers of water meters and consumer codes, in order for the contractor to proceed to a water meter replacement. In any case, the above work will be performed by the contractor and will be accompanied by full details of the consumer as well as a photograph of the facility before and after and will be evidence of the execution of the work. If the water meter and the ball valve requires immediate replacement, these will be provided by DEYAM and will be placed by the contractor.<\/p>\n
