The Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) is a Research Centre that aims to conduct basic, applied and technological research, develop applications and products, provide services and market technology products.
The cooperation with FORTH/IP aims at the creation of software/licenses and the provision of services according to the specifications of the respective technical annex of the application as well as the relevant construction/design and installation services of a telecommunication network (LoRaWAN type) and in more detail:
Α) As for the Software is included in the scope of this document:
1) The development and evolution of existing software specifications and to meet the needs of the respective technical annex of the project and the provision of licenses for the use of intelligent data management software in the network of wireless sensors
2) Customization to the needs and technical characteristics of each technical annex of the project or more detailed:
a. Installation and configuration of the compressive sensing system to reduce telemetry costs and increase the robustness of the system in case of noise interference in the recorded data
b. Installation and configuration of the computer tool for monitoring the telecommunications infrastructure and automatic optimal configuration of sensors
c. Installation and configuration of the computing platform supporting the above functions:
d. Installation and configuration of a gradual and scalable platform for the visualization of measurements and their processing results, for easy and user-friendly visualization of critical parameters of the water supply system.
B) As regards the services construction of a telecommunications network (LoRaWAN type) is included in the scope of the present project:
1.The ability to access via local server
2.The possibility of access via the web
3.The network set-up, including equipment and network installation and configuration work
4.The network upgrade (hardware and software)
5.Network maintenance
6.Ensuring complete and secure data transfer
