Constrat, specializing in the design and implementation of AMR & IoT applications related to water saving, won the public tender entitled “Modernization and Upgrade of the Electromechanical Equipment of TOEB Gergeri with Intelligent Remote Control - Remote Control System”, amounting to 1.149.114,00 €.
The object of the project is the modernization of the electromechanical equipment and the optimization of the management of the irrigation infrastructure of TOEV Gergeris, with the use of intelligent remote control and remote management systems.
More specifically, the solution to be implemented includes:
- Creation of 6 Local Irrigation Stations, for the monitoring of boreholes and reservoirs
- Installation of 800 “smart” wireless water meters
- Creation of a Central Control Station, for the full control of the critical infrastructure of the irrigation network, aiming at:
- the identification of losses
- the calculation of the water balance
- the simulation of network operation through intelligent data management software
- Digitization of the main pipelines, with georadar
Upon completion of the project, there will be an effective reduction in leakages and a significant reduction in the quantities of water pumped, resulting in optimal management of the aquifer and energy savings.
The project is funded by the Public Investment Programme P.D.E. “Rural Development of Greece 2014-2020”, financed by the Ministry of Rural Development & Food and specifically by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development of the EU and the Greek State.
