Constrat, a pioneer in the design and implementation of AMR & IoT applications related to water saving, undertakes the project “Supply & Installation of Intelligent Telemetry System for Internal Water Supply Networks with Digital Water Meters” on behalf of D.E.Y.A. Alexandria.
This project, worth 4.999.725€, is funded by the “ANTONIS TRITSIS” programme of the Ministry of Interior and its implementation period will last 18 months.
The aim of the system is the continuous monitoring of the internal water supply networks & the collection and storage of the relevant historical data of the water supply system components.
The proposed solution foresees the creation of an information gathering, monitoring and data management system by appropriate software (including network simulation and machine learning software) and the digitisation of the central water supply networks.
These processes will be carried out by software installed in the Central Control System (CCS), and will contribute to the management of water resources, through electronic mapping of the water distribution network, which will be interconnected, through wireless communication devices, with 17,860 Consumption Control Stations (CCS), which include Digital Water Meters for Wireless Transmission of Water Consumption with the possibility of Digital Recording and Wireless Transmission of Consumption.
More specifically, the project includes the following works:
- Detailed Design of the integrated system.
- Supply and installation of the electronic hardware of the Central Control Station (CCS).
- Supply and installation of 17,860 Consumption Control Stations (CCS) with Wireless Transmission capability, as well as the equipment required for their operation.
- Supply and installation of the software required for its operation
System.
- Supply and installation of all communications equipment, including transponders & antennas that will be required for the uninterrupted and uninterrupted operation of the System.
- Supply and installation of all instruments, devices and accessories mentioned in the study (level, flow, pressure, etc.)
- Digitisation work on the main water supply pipelines.
- Suitable hydraulic software to simulate the operation of the network.
- Automation of the consumption data logging process with a billing system.
- Training of the staff of the Agency in the operations, support and
- maintenance of the System.
- Operation and support of the system during the test run.
- Free warranty / maintenance of good operation for the period after the Final Quantitative and Qualitative Acceptance of the supply (System).
